The Sommogusto project was developed by the Biscuitway Growth Agency focusing on the business aspect and on the implementation of a digital marketing strategy for the launch of e-commerce.

Sommogusto is a company born in 2019 with an e-commerce focused on the retail marketing of food and wine products of the Sicilian regional tradition.

When the management of Sommogusto engaged Biscuitway, it was in the embryonic stage of the project. Although it had put the e-commerce site online, it was completely lacking in a business strategy suitable to face the complex food market. So the main objective of the project we took care of was to put the solid foundations for the growth of the business and design a launch strategy for Christmas shopping.

We dedicated a lot of time to market analysis in order to identify the most profitable niche to attack. In addition, we supported the company’s management in the drafting of the business plan, training them on tools and techniques. Together with Sommogusto, we also built the product catalog, helping the company with the contractual aspect with suppliers. Once the business aspect was clear, we moved on to the implementation of a digital marketing strategy aimed at acquiring the first customers interested in purchasing the e-commerce products on the occasion of BlackFriday and Christmas 2020. Last but not least, we worked closely with the customer care department to improve its effectiveness and increase customer satisfaction.
